HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE INDUSTRY, AND WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THIS PATh?
I started my career as a nurse but took a break to raise my kids. After my kids started school full time, I wanted to do something completely different. As a working mom, I wanted something that would allow me flexibility and opportunity for growth. Working at Link Solutions for the past 11 years has allowed me to do just that!
What advice do you have for women starting their careers?
Be yourself and always be open to new opportunities.
What advice do you have for those that may be experiencing a setback?
There may be setbacks. Acknowledge them with the understanding that you may need to take a break so you can work through them.
What inspires you?
My mother inspires me. She worked hard every day and made many sacrifices for our family to ensure we had everything we needed. She taught us that there’s nothing in life that can’t be achieved if you put your mind to it!
