Link's Inspiring women
In honor of Women’s History Month, Link is recognizing the incredible women who make our company exceptional.
Meet Yuki Han, a PC Technician at Link Solutions Inc. Yuki is part of a team that supports the Army Corrections Command in Kansas.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE INDUSTRY, AND WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THIS PATh?
There wasn’t anything in particular that made me decide to go an information technology route; as a child computers always just clicked with me. By the time I graduated high school, a technical path made sense to me just as much as a fact like “my hair is black”.
What advice do you have for women starting their careers?
Believe in yourself and your capabilities, and don’t let imposter syndrome stop you in your tracks. Find out your end goal, or if you don’t know what that is yet find out what your next step is and tackle the challenges head-on without holding yourself back. If you believe you can succeed, you will.
HOw does Link support you in your professional goals?
My current role is my first full-time technical role. Link has given me a chance to prove myself and to learn and grow further. My team members, project lead, and those I’ve met from Link are all uplifting people who are always open to questions and giving professional advice.
What inspires you?
I find inspiration from people while randomly, normally living life. I’ll just be going about my day and see others be shining brightly or achieving amazing things, or even just doing the simplest things with good intentions in mind and that’s what inspires me most. Watching others live and be kind to others.
